Stuart’s first music project after leaving Jamiroquai was the much anticipated AZUR. This was an album created by Stuart and his friend Don-E (who subsequently has his own music career) with very mixed stylistic approach. It has been described as a “R&B come Jungle” style and also features R&B star D’Angelo on one track.

You can find the AZUR Project MySpace page here.

It’s thought that high quality versions of the music will be available soon through iTunes.

Stuart’s cover interview with the UK based Bass Guitar Magazine is now out and available. We are still waiting to get our copy through, but it’s reported as a “no holds barred” interview. You can find out more on BGM’s website.

ROOH Update & Bass Guitar Magazine

As we near Christmas and the festive period, we hear that first sounds of Running Out of Heroes is nearing closer and closer to release. Along with this first release we will also be treated to the first ROOH comic of which we saw some artwork for a few months ago (check news archives).

Along with this, is news that Stuart will also be doing “no holds bared” interview with Bass Guitar Magazine (the UK’s magazine for bass players). He will be featured on the front page of the magazine, so keep your eyes peeled for that one!

We were treated to two radio interviews yesterday in which Stu discussed much about his early life as a musician, being in Jamiroquai, what he’s been up to since AZUR, and the forth coming Running Out of Heroes. We were also treated to an unheard AZUR track called “Picture In My Heart” and Stuart also mentioned that the AZUR music would be available for purchase through iTunes soon!

As if all this wasn’t enough, it was also mentioned that we may have a ROOH single by Christmas – this includes the first of many special comics to go along side the track!

Unreleased AZUR and more Interviews

The interview with JazzBeat Radio this coming Saturday will contain a previously unreleased and unheard AZUR track! Following the exclusive airing it will then be made available to download online!

As well as this news SZ, will also be doing an interview for 91.7FM WSUM with Mr.G (greenarrowradio show). Also this Saturday (26th) between 9AM-12PM (CST) (2PM GMT). Be sure to tune in!

Interview coming in Bass Musician Magazine

Jae (Stuart’s manager) has informed us that Stu will have an interview in the upcoming issue of Bass Musician Magazine – a magazine entirely based online. The new issue containing the interview is due to be released 10 days from today, so keep an eye out for it on the Bass Musician Magazine website!

We are also hearing via FaceBook that some of Stuart’s music recorded over the past 15 years or so will be made available to all fans as downloads and ringtones. As well as this, a taste of Running Out of Heroes! More on the “Lost Zender Files” to come soon!
