It's very Soul/R&B - I played bass and joint produced and mixed it!

Simon...it's amazing! I love the Jazz feel you have with your group. I can hear it. R&B mixed in but not overbearing. It's pure smooth. Youre bass playing is amazing. This is the kind of sound I dig. Release the CD and I'll buy it import! :cheesy: No seriously. This is a good group. And you are definately keeping that bottom end going strong. Very nice. I might have to try and play along sometime.

Who's the singer? She's talented. I like her voice.

The singers name is Simone - you can see pictures of most of the band members on my website http://www.simonmerrick.co.uk/photos.html when we recorded two live tracks in Moles Studio in Bath.

Good man! :wink: - The singer is heavily influenced by Jill's vocals, but her music more so Alicia Keys. Bass and production wise though I was definatley trying to add a Jill Scott vibe so I'm glad you picked up on it :mrgreen:
