After moving to Inverness over three weeks ago, it's only today I got my broadband up and running. Anyone would think it's the Himalaya's I live in, not the "fastest growing city in Europe"!! :D

Had some real good times up in Inverness over the years, but haven't been there for about 3 years now. I always stayed in the Kingsmill Hotel (at least I think that's what it was called!!) Nice place - mel Gibson was staying there one time I was visiting (he was filming part of Braveheart at the time before going to Ireland for most of the filming).

You managing to get any gigs up there? Or is it all ceilidhs and teuchter stuff that's happening?

The Kingsmills is about 2 mins away from my place!!

There are a few venues up here that put on live music, but it is all either scottish music, or angst ridden sweaty teenagers playing mindless headbanging bullshit :lol:
