Mark Ronson – Stop Me | 2007
The first single release from Mark Ronson’s album titled ‘Version’ featuring Australian singer Daniel Merriweather. SZ is credited for playing the bass part for this track.
Gorillaz – Dirty Harry | 2005
Stated to be the best Gorillaz remix to date, the Chopper Remix of ‘Dirty Harry’ has seen huge success. The remix see’s SZ team up with old Jamiroquai band mate DJ D-Zire (Darren Galea). Watch out for future remixes by Chopper!
Melanie Blatt – See Me | 2005
The single release of ‘See Me’ contains two tracks written and produced by Stu. The single title ‘See Me’ is the soundtrack to the animated movie ‘Robots’ which came out on March 18th 2005. The singles supporting track ‘What Went Wrong’ is equally as strong and again is co-written, produced and mixed by SZ.
Mel Blatt – Do Me Wrong | 2003
The comeback single for Mel since leaving the All Saints featured two other tracks that were to appear on her album release. The album never happened as her record label fell through, but the two tracks ‘The Boy & I’ and ‘My Everything’ were both produced by Stu in their London home studio. The sleeve in the single credits SZ for writing and producing the tracks under Zenza Productions.
Outsidaz (feat Rah Digga & Mel Blatt) – I’m Leavin’ | 2002
Mel’s vocals were orginally recorded by Stu, but were then taken to the Strongroom studios in London to be remixed and added to the orginal mix of the track. During the recording they used a new piece of music software called ‘Rocket Network’. Stu receives credit for additional production.
Artful Dodger – Twenty Four Seven | 2001
Mel Blatt teamed up with Artful Dodger in 2001 to work on the track ‘Twenty Four Seven’. The track saw good success, and as noted in the CD sleeve, Stuart receives credit for middle eight vocal arrangement.
Jamiroquai – Singles | 1993-1998
Stuart played bass (and also co-wrote some tracks) on all Jamiroquai singles up until his departure in 1998. This excludes the first single release in 1992, ‘When You Gonna Learn’ was played by bassist Andrew Levy.
